Proyecto premiado en Corea

Proyecto desarrollado por estudiantes del Centro Regional de Veraguas de la Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá se presenta en el Foro Mundial de Educación Ingenieril en Daegu, Corea ( https://weefgedc2025.org/) y es galardonado con el segundo lugar en la categoría Best Student Paper Award.

El proyecto presentado en Corea, se titula: Project-based learning and the CDIO Syllabus to connect Materials Science classes with real-world applications.

Este proyecto utiliza el polvo de las cáscaras de mango, aglomeradas con almidón de las cáscaras de plátano, para alimentar peces cultivados en estanques de áreas rurales.

Parte de este proyecto ya había sido seleccionado por la Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos y se presentó en la Noche de Investigadores 2023 (https://oei.int/oficinas/panama/programas/noche-de-investigadores-edicion-2023/) 

En este caso, en el  WEEF de Corea, fue seleccionado como proyecto de innovación en la categoría Conexión de la Academia con aplicaciones para el mundo real.
